The NHS Knowledge and Skills Framework (the NHS KSF) describes the knowledge and skills, which NHS staff need to apply in their work in order to deliver quality services. It provides a framework on which to base the review and development of staff. This framework does not apply to Executive Directors or Medical and Dental staff.
