Experiences of Working in Partnership to Improve Care

Since 2004 Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust and Portsmouth City Primary Care Trust have worked together to celebrate and showcase developments and advances in clinical practice by hosting and annual conference, Experiences of Working in Partnership to improve Care.

This year’s conference was a great success and took place on the 14th and 15th October 2009 in the Education Centre St Marys Hospital Portsmouth.  Colleagues from both organisations presented developments in their practice which encompassed a wide variety of specialism’s e.g. learning disabilities, older person’s mental health, podiatry, acute care, maternity and many others. Library Service

The Portsmouth NHS Libraries and their staff provide a range of library and information resources to support all health care staff in the Portsmouth area in their work, studies and research.

ICT Training Department

The ICT Training Department provides a multitude of computer skills training courses, both in the Classroom and via E-Learning, to NHS Staff within the IPHIS catchments.

The courses covered range from specific Microsoft Office applications, Internal Systems and a number of foundation courses for users who are not familiar with computers. www.training.iphis.nhs.uk
